A villainous woman who uses the power of her sexuality in order to ensnare
the hapless hero. The phrase is French for “fatal woman.” In music circles,
Femmes Fatales now refers to the first ever compilation of its kind honoring
the burgeoning presence of women behind the turntables and on the mics.
This collection showcases 12 original tracks by a dozen of the brightest up
and coming female DJs, producers and vocalists. Styles range from
energetic trance to progressive house to circuit with a ’lil drum n’ bass
thrown in for good measure.

This supremely evolved aural platter features the single “100 Stories” by
Andrea Burns alongside original music from Colette, Jes (from Motorcycle),
Jan Johnston, DJ Keri, Dena Carman, Mea, Layla, Angelique, Celeste Lear,
Colleen Kelly & Eve Falcon. It also contains exclusive tracks and remixes
by: Perry O’Neil, Noel Sanger, Burnsie, Interstate and Black Liquid.
Produced by Mike Burns (director of the documentary Peace, Love & Beats
